Tesla Malaysia has announced it has launched the first Supercharger station in Selangor at Sunway Pyramid. According to the company, the Sunway Pyramid station is the third to be added to the Supercharger network here and there are currently 16 Superchargers in the country.
Four of them are located in front of the main entrance at the valet parking areas of Sunway Pyramid. The V3 Superchargers there can each deliver a peak DC output of 250 kW, which can help a Model 3 gain 282 km of range with just 15 minutes of being plugged in.
The station is operational 24 hours and it’ll cost you RM1.25 per kWh. There’s also a parking charge of RM5 per hour while charging, along with an idle fee (the duration that your car is occupying the bay but not charging) up to RM4 per minute when the station is fully occupied.
