The Aventador SVJ is the last mid-engined, naturally aspirated V12 supercar available for sale to the public today and sits above the standard Aventador S, and replaces the SV at the top of the Lamborghini range. The SVJ was designed for one thing – to be the fastest production car around the Nurburgring – and it did just that (until November 2020 where the Mercedes AMG GT Black series took over) 6:44.97 was the SVJ’s lap record – a full minute faster than the Pagani Zonda. The design is clearly inspired by aeronautical engineering designs and is further adorned with the addition of bold Alcantara leather upholstery featuring cross-stitching details. Don’t get too excited by the interior though – the SVJ is 100% built to go fast, meaning any and every chance to make the vehicle lighter was taken by the Lamborghini engineers.

Performance and Drivetrain
The Aventador SVJ is bestridden with a state of the art naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine (the last of its kind) which is capable of generating a mammonth 770HP at 8,500RPM. 0-62mph (100km/h) is reached in just 2.8 seconds and the vehicle currently holds the 2nd best production lap time at the Nurburgring – with a time of just 6:44.97 – a full minute quicker than the Pagani Zonda! The driver is also able to optimize aero channel designs and air inlets along with the ALA (active aerodynamic system) support – creating a more decisive and calculated driving experience.
